And Then There Were None : Book Review

Hi people!!!! This is my first book review. I am not quite sure as to how to write a proper book review. But this is my attempt to writing one. Hope you enjoy! Here goes.

And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie.

The book takes us through the events that take place on an island including ten people. People who have unintentionally committed some crime for which they were never punished. They are called to the island through a letter, sent to them by some old acquaintance. But one by one as the guests start being murdered slowly, panic spreads. There is no trust between any of the guests. And the guests are not just being murdered randomly! The murderer is following a poem. It is a case that boggles everybody. At the end , when the author reveals how the murders were planned through the form of a note in bottle written by the murderer, it is quite mind blowing.

In my opinion, the author has taken her time to create the baseline of the story. The events are quite slow paced at the beginning, but believe me, it gets better. She has also captured the personality of the characters quite well. The way they react when accused of murder, their reaction when it becomes quite clear that the murderer is one of them definitely makes the character sketch clearer.

All in all, I would definitely recommend it to you if you like mysteries and are looking for a casual read. Hope this review will help you. If you have any suggestions for me for my next book review, feel free to write a comment down below. Stay Home, Stay Safe guys.
